A post-graduate from Indian Institute of Rural Management, Anand he has close to 16 years of experience in natural resource management. Skilled and interested in community work, field data collection and statistical analysis, Prakash is from Uttarakhand and has worked on issues of common property resource management and forest rights. His work in Himachal has included mobilizing communities towards asserting their control over common properties like forests and rivers. As a part of Himdhara Collective, he has conducted in-depth research on the changing nature of the landscape and environment. Prakash has been volunteering with Sambhaavnaa since 2013 conducting sessions on the ‘Energy Crisis in India’ and ‘Sustainable Mountain Agriculture’, which are his areas of interest.
At Sambhaavnaa, Prakash facilitates Buniyaad and Nayi Dishayein programs.
